Event Highlights by Community
This edition features some of the most exciting and inspiring events that took place in Haringey in the past months. Here are some of the highlights:
Winter was buzzing with vibrant activities and engagement.
December – Night Cap Warm Space at Chestnuts
Community Centre hosted Candy’s Dance Stars, filling the house with an evening of dance. The event was graced by GLA Deputy Mayor for Communities, Deborah Weeks, who joined in learning the Candy dance, adding to the excitement.
EmpowerHER – Self Renewal
February’s EmpowerHER event focused on self-care and
empowerment for women. The morning featured engaging presentations
on health and wellness, family support, and housing services.
Attendees also had access to crucial MMR immunisations
and breast and cervical screenings at Northumberland Park
Resource Centre.
Great Mental Health Day
January 2025’s Great Mental Health Day
strengthened community bonds with massages, pampering, coffee mornings, fun activities, speeches, and family health discussions, plus lunch.
