Tribute to Agenda Brown
Agenda Brown’s legacy as a photographer is etched in his impactful work on
community projects. His lens captured more than images; it highlighted the vital
message of health campaigns like the “Get Screened” initiative, emphasising the
importance of cervical screening.
His artistry vividly portrayed public figures, capturing the essence of their strength, dignity, and commitment to equality and democracy, as seen in his depictions of Baroness Martha Osamor.
The iconic image of Councillor Isidoros Diakides, complete with hat, exemplifies
Agenda’s skill in merging personality with the simplicity of daily life. His photographs transcend mere reflections, engaging the viewer in a dialogue that evokes familiarity and reverence.
As we prepare this tribute, we feel the absence of Agenda’s creative spirit in Haringey. His work remains a beacon of artistic integrity and community
involvement. His photographs, resonating with the values he cherished, continue to inspire.
In honouring Agenda, we uphold the integrity of his work, ensuring our tribute
reflects our respect and admiration. As we bid farewell to a remarkable artist,
his vision endures in Haringey’s creative narrative. Thank you, Agenda , for your
indelible impact.
In loving memory of Richard Anthony Agenda Brown
