Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre brings health to the high street

The Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is run by Whittington Health NHS Trust. It brings health to the high street offering blood tests, x-rays, ultrasound scans, an eye (ophthalmology) clinic, MRI and CT scans to residents across north central London from The Mall, Wood Green.

The centre offers extended operating times Mon-Fri 8.30am-7.00pm, Saturdays 9.00am-5.00pm, making it even easier for local people to access diagnostic tests. 80% of residents in Haringey can get to the CDC in less than 45mins by public transport, making it quicker for most people as there is no hospital in the borough.
Earlier this year the CDC team came together to celebrate the incredible work being done at the service and reflected Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre
brings health to the high street by on the positive impact the murals by Phoebe Swan are having on patients as they receive care. The Lower Ground Floor, where the new MRI and CT testing machines are located, was then officially opened the following day by Professor Sir Mike Richards (pictured above). The event began with a presentation from Baroness Neuberger DBE, Whittington Health NHS Trust Chair, and Jonathan Gardner, Whittington Health NHS Trust Chief Strategy,

Digital and Improvement Officer and the senior responsible officer for Community Diagnostic Centres across North Central London. That was followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the newly established MRI and CT facilities
