Invitation to Focus Group

Cervical cancer screening can save lives. Help us understand why more women in your community are not taking up cervical screening.
• Are you a Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic woman aged 25-49 and 50-64?
• We are looking for women living in the following wards of Haringey
• Seven Sisters, St Ann’s, West Green, Tottenham Green/Hale, Harringay Noel Park, Bruce Grove to take part in a focus group.
• Groups conducted either online or at a community venue
(following Covid-19 safety precautions).

The main aim of these focus groups is to start the conversation to better understand the reasons why cervical screening uptake is particularly low in some communities across Haringey and increase screening participation amongst BAME groups.Your views on how to remove barriers and increase uptake will directly feed into Public Health Haringey’s plans. You will receive a gift for attendance, and the chance to help
improve women’s health.
